VAT & DUTY
From the first of January VAT has been added to orders over £21 (excluding shipping) by your local government.
The good news is that the UK government does not charge VAT on most foods* so you will not be taxed twice.
If you are a registered business you can claim back any VAT paid with your government.
Although complex (28 different tax laws!), we are working to rapidly add local taxes into the price shown to you on our website and pre pay taxes on your behalf.
Duty will also be applied to orders over £135 (€150), however if you were to make two orders under £150, you would not pay Duty. The total cost of shipping will remain the same as it is based on how many KG an order weighs.
DELAYS
January delays were particularly bad, however in February and now March couriers are getting used to the new rules which means shipping times are pretty much back to normal.
Depending upon your local border force, you may also encounter customs delays as your order is processed
